Science Expo 2/25/2020

This week there is a lot going there is the jump rope for heart routines and there is also the science expo I am doing an experiment where I’m watering plants with different liquids, they are coca cola, coffee, and carbonated water. Then seeing if they will grow or not. The data that I have gotten so far is that the coca cola has wilted the coffee has done the best and the carbonated water is kind of in between. I have used the same plant and have watering them the same amount. When ever I pick up the coke plant it is very heavy compared to the other ones. The coffe has been doing the best because of the time and how much I am watering them.

How many scientists have tried this experiment?

What is the best type of plant to do this with?

Next time should I plant them outside instead?

Genetics 2/4/20

This week so far we have been learning about genetics and we have started a slide show about genetics and my group is  doing animal cloning, and so far I have only heard of the the cons about it because there is  defection in the animals and they might not turn out well plus its not natural and its not good for the environment the only benefits that I have seen so far are for livestock breeders.  Because they can make money very fast and easy and they have good genes if they turn out well. We also started working on dragons that we are making and we flipped coins to figure out what tools we are using to make them we have only been doing them for one day but it is really fun.

How close are they to cloning humans?

Will cloning humans be a bad thing?

How will they test human cloning?
